The Viking Food Processor is Here
Viking is known for making some excellent appliances for the home, and the Viking Food Processor does not disappoint. It follows the same design traits that Viking has become renowned for, the smooth simple finishes with accents of steel to give each item that industrious look that many people love. The main selection of colors may be a little limited for some but the bases are covered with black, white, two types of grey and a bright pillar box red. So even if they do not have a color that you are looking for you should make an allowance just this once as the other features will more than make up for it standing out in your home appliance crowd.

The Viking Food Processor comes with a 12 cup mixing bowl that features an unusual cast metal handle, though this does help continue its design on from the base. The motor used to power the many different attachments that comes as standard is of an induction design which runs much quieter than most. You should really only be aware of any loud sounds when you are putting some major pressure on the motor to work something particularly tough. One of the only features that let this blender down is the lack of controls. You simply have an on, off and pulse function which some may find restrictive, especially when trying to mix something like a dough which requires variable speeds to be changed on the fly.
All in all though the Viking Food Processor is a handy tool for the kitchen, it is designed to be used and as such left out on the counter rather than stored in a cupboard. There are wheels mount on the bottom rear panel so you can easily maneuver the unit around. The rear panel also holds a cable storage bay so you will not be left with messy cables tangling up around the work surface. One nice touch is the extra disc storage unit that comes as standard and matches the color of your processor. This is infinitely better than simply throwing them all in a drawer, only to get lost somewhere along the line.
