The Outstanding Range of Oster Food Processors
Oster Food Processors are available in a wide range of units that vary in both price and features depending on what kind of work you intend doing in the kitchen. Most of the units they produce will come with a 10 cup mixing bowl as standard though many have the option of either using a bigger mixing bowl or adapting the unit to act as a small processor for small more delicate jobs. The motors range in power from about 300w to 900w, which is quite a range of powers so you really can buy only what you need. Too often units are extremely overpowered for the average user and as such carry a price tag that is more than you would expect.
The general idea with Oster food processors is to only use them for their intended uses, which are in actual fact quite varied. Some people that have complained about the units breaking are mostly trying to use the unit beyond its intended parameters. Obviously this cannot be avoided once the unit is sold so try using some common sense when using your processor. The unit is built nicely with a solid steel base that holds the unit down while it is in use and minimizes the vibrations as well. Most of the body of the unit is plastic but not in the cheap way, it looks like you would expect a food processor to look.
The prices that you would pay for an Oster Food Processor are extremely reasonable and with the many models available you will more than likely find one within your price range. Added accessories include different cutting and mixing blades giving each unit many different uses in the home. Build quality is good though the only complaint that has any ground in fact is the some of the units are less than pretty. If you have the cupboard space to store it out of site whilst not in use this is obviously not a factor but if like most people space is limited, rather choose an Oster model that is prettier on the eye, you will be glad you did.
